Meditation is mind maintenance: Our computers tell us when the hard drive is full, the same way, our mind can suffer from overload. In this class, we will teach some meditation techniques and give more insight into meditation. Sound, mantras or the breath can help to focus the mind. 

There are different methods of breath control; it can be calming, balancing, invigorating and cleansing. We will go through some basic techniques, mainly to cleanse the energy channels and balance our nervous system before going into meditation.

 

Jules and Kevin founded www.BreathBeatBar.com,  a website where you can listen to daily sound meditations for free.

Kevin is a sound healer, mostly working with Himalayan singing bowls and Jules has been teaching yoga, meditation and Vedic chanting for over 10years, since she studied Sanskrit and Vedanta in India.

They combined their skills for Yin Yoga with Sound Healing classes and Sound Healing Meditations. As a couple, they were touring Asia with their workshops and have now returned to London, for classes Upstairs at the Elder Press.
